Fighting corona virus and stay healthy startup

The world is going through a pandemic never seen in our lifetime. It’s impacting every aspect of our lives, our health, the way we live, work, and our financial security. The entire world is trying to contaminate the virus through isolation and social distancing. Coronavirus is pulling down the financial market to 10 percent. 

How Corona outbreak impacts IT industry :
In the Tech industry, every single employee is requested to do work from home so that they can be healthy. Employees who traveled across the globe very recently are prone to this COVID-19. Companies that are dealing with China manufacturers say like Apple, for instance, warned investors that the supply of iPhones, the company’s marquee product, which accounts for the bulk of its revenue every quarter would be hampered by the spread of the coronavirus. Apple relies heavily on factories in Shenzhen, China, and Chinese consumers are an enormous segment of the company’s customer base.

Other companies like Amazon, Microsoft, and many others who import electronics or any specific goods are kept under a halt due to COVID-19. The virus is having a huge impact on the production and manufacturing of goods from China. Its effect industries like Travel, Overseas education, and food and hospitality industries where the estimated breakdown is approximately 25 percent.

Primitive measures every startup/ IT company should follow :

The safe or convenient method an IT company can exercise is providing work from home options for every possible employee. Home quarantine is always the best practice to fight against COVID-19.

Social distancing or at least maintain 1meter distance between yourself and the people who have cold, cough, or sneezing. When someone coughs or sneezes they spray small liquid droplets from their nose or mouth which may contain a virus.

Regularly and thoroughly clean your hands with an alcohol-based hand rub or wash them with soap and water. Hands touch many surfaces and can pick up viruses. Once contaminated, hands can transfer the virus to your eyes, nose, or mouth.

Practice respiratory hygiene, make sure you, and the people around you, follow good respiratory hygiene. This means covering your mouth and nose with your bent elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze. Then dispose of the used tissue immediately.

Stay home if you feel unwell. If you have a fever, cough, and difficulty in breathing, seek medical attention, and call in advance. Follow the directions of your local health authority.
